Situation and Perspectives
This report covers a 2012 study of cloud computing in Africa and puts forward recommendations advocating, on the one hand, the establishment of political and regulatory frameworks and appropriate training programmes to facilitate the advent of cloud computing, and, on the other hand, popularization of the technology.

Executive summary
This study was launched at the initiative of ITU's Telecommunication Development Bureau and pursuant to one of the recommendations adopted by the 12th Forum on Telecommunication/ICT Regulation held in Rwanda in June 2011.
