Application security
With increasing awareness of the importance of security, application developers today are paying more attention to the need to build security into their products, rather than trying to retrofit security after the application moves into production. In spite of this, most applications, at some point in their lifecycle, are found to have some inherent vulnerabilities. In addition, evolving threats frequently expose and exploit previously-unknown vulnerabilities.
