WSIS Stocktaking Succes Stories 2014
International Telecommunication Union World Summit on the Information Society WSIS Stocktaking Process
The Success Stories 2014 is a selection of projects implemented by WSIS Stakeholders. This publication aggregates several voluntary contributions from around the world that were collected during the year, and illustrates key lessons drawn from the management of these projects. By sharing these case studies, stakeholders are intending to facilitate transfer of knowledge, experiences and models for project implementation. Success Stories 2014 aim at encouraging the others to share their experiences from the WSIS implementation. The management of the challenges that have been overcome by a country can serve as a basis for other stakeholders facing similar situations and seeking for possible solutions. Even though some of the case studies included in this publication address very specific and country-oriented solutions, they can certainly be transposed and adapted to different contexts.
