Convergence: Is it real this time?
The Asia-Pacific market is in the middle of a global technology transition in the telecommunication/ICT sector. The transformation is from circuit switched to IP technology for all applications—including voice—and a true convergence of networks and applications. There is currently a great deal of discussion in the industry about the implications of this convergence in the Asia-Pacific region.
